The Jessieville Middle School is considering adopting a new school vision/mission and would like parental input.

Students are not allowed to eat lunch outside. All students must eat lunch in the cafeteria. No food or drink should be carried outside of the cafeteria. Trash has already become an issue.

 

Signed forms should be turned in by now. If you have not returned your signed forms you will be called to the office.

 

There will be no more schedule changes.

 

 

Jessieville Middle School will have a series of  Parent Meetings to discuss the intent to move from a Targeted Assistance Title 1 Program to a Schoolwide Title 1 Program. These meetings will be held in the Vell Meredith Library. Parents are welcome and encourage to participate

  • September 3, 2014, 2:30 – To discuss the intent move from Targeted Assistance Title 1 to Schoolwide Title 1. They will discuss the existing school vision and possible revisions.
  • September 9, 2014, 5:30 – They will examine and analyze school data and determine focus areas, priorities, and possible interventions.
  • September 17, 2014, 2:30 – They will examine 2014-2015 ACSIP for corrections and revisions.

PARENTS: STUDENTS MAY NOT WEAR SHORTS SHORTER THAN A DOLLAR BILL’S WIDTH ABOVE THE KNEE. STUDENTS MAY NOT WEAR SLEEVELESS TOPS. STUDENTS WHO WEAR LEGGINGS MUST HAVE A TOP OR GARMENT OF SOME SORT THAT COVERS THE BUTTOCKS.

Students who have a sibling in elementary who are car riders need to go to the safe room to be picked up. Middle school students who have a sibling in high school who are car riders will wait by the buses to be picked up. Students need to move quicker to the car rider line.
