Mrs. Amanda Sarver

Welcome to Jessieville Elementary!  I am so excited that you have found our school homepage, and what a wonderful school it is!  My name is Amanda Sarver and I am the Jessieville Elementary principal.  I have been an educator at JES for sixteen years.  I have three children that attend school here; Cooper in 8th grade, Lili in 5th, and Holland in 3rd grade.  My husband, Nicholas, is a graduate of Jessieville High School.  

At Jessieville Elementary, our teachers are encouraged to use student-centered approaches to teaching, such as hands-on learning, cooperative learning, and differentiated instruction.  We foster a culture of high expectations for students, teachers, staff and parents which has been found to be a hallmark of high achieving schools.  Not only do our teachers provide research-based instruction in the classroom, but we also offer services such as small group tutoring, one on one instruction, and a free daily afterschool program.  Breakfast is free and served in the classroom every morning and lunch is also served at no cost to the student.  JES is proud to offer five activity classes per week which include computer lab, library, art, physical activity, and music.  Gifted and talented programs are also available in 3rd - 5th grade.
