Jessieville Newsletter
It is hard to believe we are already heading into our fourth week of school. The excitement of the first few days has settled into the everyday work of learning, growing, and building relationships. There is a lot of good happening across Jessieville, and we appreciate the support our families continue to show our students and staff.

Thank you to all of our fans that came out to support our football team, band, and cheerleaders last week. Great win on Thursday night! Friday may not have been the outcome we wanted, but it was exciting to see such great fan support all the way to the end. Also, what a great week for volleyball with some awesome wins!

Looking forward to another great week!

Info For The Week

  • Progress Check: We are far enough into the school year that students are beginning to establish academic patterns. This is a good week to check grades, missing assignments, and teacher feedback. If you are not sure how to access the "Home Access Center" contact your child's school.
  • Ask About What They’re Learning: Instead of only asking, “How was school?”, try asking your child to tell you one thing they learned, one thing they enjoyed, and one thing that was challenging.
  • Build Independence: As routines become familiar, encourage students to take more responsibility for backpacks, assignments, sports gear, and other school materials.
  • School Involvement: Clubs, athletics, and other student activities are beginning to pick up. Encourage your child to get involved in something that helps them feel connected to school.
  • Communication Early Helps: If your child is struggling academically, socially, or with a school routine, this is a good time to reach out. Small concerns are usually easier to address early.
  • Celebrate Growth: The first few weeks are not just about grades. Students are also learning new expectations, building relationships, and becoming more confident in their routines.
  • Support School Spirit: Fall activities are in full swing, and we encourage families to come out and support our students at games, performances, and other school events.
