Susan Martin “I chose to pursue a career in counseling because I recognized the critical need for guidance and support as students transition into ninth grade and prepare for life after high school. Many students benefit from having a safe, welcoming space where they can ask questions, explore their options, and plan for their futures. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is at the end of the school year, when our seniors share their post-graduation plans. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that I played even a small part in helping them reach that point. I also truly enjoy reconnecting with former students and witnessing all they have accomplished since graduation.”  

Chris Benson “I take great pride in my role as a High School Counseling Assistant and Registrar. Working collaboratively with our school counselor and serving the student body is both a rewarding and dynamic experience. My core responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, assisting with class scheduling, and providing students with timely, relevant information on academic programs, college admissions, career pathways, and scholarship opportunities. What I find most fulfilling about this role is the ability to build meaningful relationships with students and contribute to their growth as responsible and successful young adults.”
