At Jessieville Elementary, we prioritize student-centered teaching strategies, including hands-on activities, cooperative learning, and differentiated instruction. Our school cultivates a culture of high expectations for students, teachers, staff, and families—an essential characteristic of high-performing schools. In addition to delivering research-based instruction, our educators provide support through small group tutoring, and one-on-one interventions. Every student receives free breakfast served in the classroom each morning, as well as lunch at no cost. JES proudly offers five enriching activity classes each week: computer lab, library, art, physical education, and music. A Gifted and Talented program is provided for students in grades 3 through 5.
